David Seyfried Wing Chair, Georgian Leg — Ex-Display

A wing chair in the classic English manner: high-backed, deep-seated and quietly protective, the sort of chair a room arranges itself around. This is David Seyfried’s Georgian-leg wing, handmade in England on a beech hardwood frame, and dressed here in a soft blue-grey chenille that shifts gently in the light.

David Seyfried has been making upholstered furniture for more than forty years from the Design Centre at Chelsea Harbour, and the construction shows it — traditional frame-making, duck-feather-filled cushioning and mahogany-finished legs on brass castors.

This chair has served as a display piece in our showroom and is offered as seen, complete with its upholstery — eight metres of fabric valued at £960, included in the price. One only.
